This is a list of our current favorites. All are good reads and provided us with good information being applied elsewhere on this blog.
Glutton for pleasure by Bob Blumer
A must have for those of us that love to “play with food.” Great ideas for presenting savory dishes that look like sweets, enjoy reading this great book.
Photography: From Snapshots to Great Shots by Nicole S. Young. All the way from the basics of photography and equipment to advanced techniques and concepts.
The Bread Baker’s Apprentice: Mastering the Art of Extraordinary Bread by Peter Reinhart. Great read for anyone interested in bread. Very interesting and entertaining style, wonderful information on techniques and tasty recipes.
Digital Food Photography by Lou Manna. Good all-round book on photography and very helpful for food photography which I find more difficult than landscape photography (my favorite)
